Welcome!
We are delighted that you have joined our Swimming Academy where learning to swim can take place in a safe and professional environment.
We have important information below that all Parents / Guardian’s need to be aware of.

To complete your enrolment, please read all of the information below and then follow the 3 steps....
Parking:
There is very limited parking at Covehurst Bay so we have negotiated a deal with the Fairlight Lodge Hotel (which is located on the corner of Martineau Lane, approaching from Fairlight Road end) and this is where all parking will take place for our swimming lessons. To clarify, NO parking at Covehurst Bay; parking to be made at Fairlight Lodge Hotel.
Covehurst Bay is a short walk down Martineau Lane from the Hotel's car park.
Please park at the top of the car park, in front of the fence as shown in the picture attached. Also make sure you are park sensibly so everyone can access the parking. There is not a lot of parking so please make sure you park closely to other cars so that we can fit in as many people as possible.

Changing:
Please arrive at your swimming lessons ‘pool ready' - This means that both you and your child have your swim wear on covered by your outside clothes. There are a few changing areas but these are best saved for when you are getting out of the pool. Once again, it is best to wear something that is quick and easy to put on when you are getting changed.
- All babies must wear a swim nappy if needed
- Babies may wear baby wetsuits (optional)
- Bring a warm towel to poolside to wrap your baby up after the lesson
- Pushchairs must not be brought onto poolside but left in the adjoining the porch outside of the changing rooms
Spectators:
A single additional spectator is welcome to join you at your child’s swimming lesson. However please inform us before your lesson as there is limited space on the poolside. During the warmer months spectators will be able to watch the lessons from the garden area.
No outside shoes are allowed to be worn on the poolside areas.
After your swim:
Once you have completed your swimming lesson and have got changed, please stay longer and enjoy free drinks, snacks, and baby activities in the flower gardens during the summer or in the jungle conservatory in the winter months.
Swimming Fees:
Your invoice for your swimming fees will be issued by email before the start of a new term. Payment will need to be made on the agreed payment date, which is usually the Thursday before a term of lessons is about to begin). Failed payments will incur an additional administration charge of £3.00 inc. VAT.
Cancellations:
If you decide to leave our Swimming Academy a terms' notice is required in writing to your home venue - Failure to give notice means you will still incur the new terms fees until enough notice has been given. Here is a link to our terms and conditions.
General:
If you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of illnesses then please do not attend our swimming lessons. This is for the health and wellbeing of our teachers and all who attend the swimming lessons.
