Administration - ALL Venues:
- Once you have been offered a space on our Academy, you must complete our online enrolment form and set up a payment method - This MUST be completed prior to the first swimming lesson
- All swimming lessons must be paid for in advance of the first lesson by direct debit (on the agreed payment date, which is usually the Thursday before a term of lessons is about to begin)
- Failed payments will incur an addtitional administration charge of £3.00 inc. VAT
- Swimming lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable, this includes any missed swimming lessons.
- Refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances agreed in writing with the Director or when an Official Doctors Note is presented
- In the event that swimming lessons have to be cancelled, Water Creatures will do their best to contact you. For updates on closures - please refer to your email, our website or social media pages.
- All cancelled swimming lessons will receive a credit note or be offered another time to swim
- Any swimmers that turn up late to their lessons will not have the time made up – no refund will be available
- Any swimmers turning up more than 15 minutes late may not be able to have their lesson – no refund will be available
- In the event that it snows on the day of your swimming lesson, then please refer to your email, our website or social media pages.
- We reserve the right to appoint a new teacher at any time and will notify you accordingly. We may, at times (without notification) need to provide an alternative teacher for a class or classes due to illness or for any other unforeseen circumstances
Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions must be read carefully by the parent/guardian of our Swimmers enrolling into our Swimmming Academy. By signing our online enrolment form you have officially confirmed that you have read and understood these terms and conditions.
Water Creatures Academy of Swimming reserves the right to change / amend these terms and conditions as and when required - Any alterations will we be displayed at www.watercreatures.co.uk
Cancellation Policy
Administration - Cancellation Policy:
If you decide to leave our Swimming Academy a terms' notice is required in writing to your home venue - Failure to give notice means you will still incur the new terms fees until enough notice has been given
At the Pool - Covehurst Bay:
- No shoes of any kind are allowed on the poolside area, shoes must be left at the entrance/changing rooms
- All Swimmers must wear a swimming hat - This is not required for our Adult & Baby, Nursery or Pre-School groups, unless you wish too
- No food or drink is allowed on poolside or in the changing areas
- Talcum powder is not allowed to be used in the changing areas
- All rubbish and swim nappies must be placed in the bins provided
- No pushchairs are allowed inside of the swimming pool area or changing rooms - They can be left in the ajoining porch
- No photography and / or filming in the swimming pool area - unless permission has been granted by Water Creatures
- Parents / Guardians must not attempt to speak to, or distract, the Teachers while they are conducting a lesson
- All jewellery and watches must be removed before entering the swimming pool - Ear studs may be worn
- Suitable ‘Learn to Swim’ swimwear must be worn by all swimmers
- Swimmers must wait quietly for their swimming lessons and be careful not to distract other swiming lessons that may be going on
Covehurst Bay
Rye Leisure Centre
At the Pool - Rye Leisure Centre:
- No shoes of any kind are allowed on the poolside area, shoes must be left in the changing rooms
- All Swimmers must wear a swimming hat - This is not required for our Adult & Baby, Nursery or Pre-School groups, unless you wish too
- No food or drink is allowed on poolside or in the changing areas
- Talcum powder is not allowed to be used in the changing areas
- All rubbish and swim nappies must be placed in the bins provided
- No pushchairs are allowed inside of the swimming pool area - They can be left in the changing area
- No photography and / or filming in the swimming pool area - unless permission has been granted by Water Creatures
- Parents / Guardians must not attempt to speak to, or distract, the Teachers while they are conducting a lesson
- All jewellery and watches must be removed before entering the swimming pool - Ear studs may be worn
- Suitable ‘Learn to Swim’ swimwear must be worn by all swimmers - Above the knee swim shorts and one piece swimming costume
- Swimmers must wait quietly for their swimming lessons and be careful not to distract other swimming lessons that may be going on
- When you arrive on poolside for your swimming lesson, please go and sit safely at your group's area - No more than 5 minutes before - Please do not wait in the showers with the showers constantly running
- Parent / Guardians of swimmers younger than 16 years, must stay for the duration of the lesson
At the Pool - Bannatyne Hastings:
- No shoes of any kind are allowed on the poolside area, shoes must be left in the changing rooms
- Parent / Guardian's are welcome to watch the swimming lessons from poolside or the cafe
- All Swimmers are encouraged to wear a swimming hat
- No food or drink is allowed on poolside or in the changing areas
- Talcum powder is not allowed to be used in the changing areas
- All rubbish must be placed in the bins provided
- No pushchairs are allowed inside of the swimming pool area - They can be left in the changing area
- No photography and / or filming in the swimming pool area - unless permission has been granted by Water Creatures
- Parents / Guardians must not attempt to speak to, or distract, the Teachers while they are conducting a lesson
- All jewellery and watches must be removed before entering the swimming pool - Ear studs may be worn
- Suitable ‘Learn to Swim’ swimwear must be worn by all swimmers - Above the knee swim shorts and one piece swimming costume

- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your swimming lesson - Please do not wait in the showers with the showers constantly running
