Welcome to Water Creatures Academy of Swimming.
Our Lessons are taught at Covehurst Bay Holiday Cottages, 142 Martineau Lane, Hastings, East Sussex, TN35 5DR.
We are delighted that you have joined our Swimming Academy where your child/ren can learn to swim in a safe and professional environment.
We have important information below that all Parents / Guardian’s need to be aware of and adhere to. If you have any queries or need any further information then please ask a member of our Team or contact us on the information below.

About Water Creatures:
Water Creatures Academy of Swimming was founded by Mr. Lee A Cornelius M.S.T.A in January 2011.
Water Creatures is an Academy with personality that offers progressive and structured swimming lessons which are FUN and ENJOYABLE J
Our Parent & Baby lessons at Covehurst Bay are available on a Monday.
Once your Child has reached their full potential at Water Creatures, they can look to join our sister Academy, LAC Academy – lacacademy.co.uk. LAC Academy, based at Rye Sports Centre in Rye, offers an Advanced Swimming and Lifesaving Club.
Our swimming lessons run in-line with the School term time; a list of our swimming dates can be found by clicking here.
Payments / Contact Information:
- E-invoices will be sent by email to inform you of your swimming fees each term
- All e-invoices must be paid by the date set, failure to pay by the set date may mean loosing your space
- Payments must be made by bank transfer
- Our Receptionsit will be at the pool at the start and finish of a term to take payments. If you need to discuss something in between times then you can speak to one of our Lead Teachers or contact us
- If your contact details change then please let us know as soon as possible. Details can be updated by following a link when you receive your e-invoice or by clicking here
Parent & Baby Lessons:
- All babies must wear a swim nappy
- Babies may wear baby wetsuits (optional)
- Bring a warm towel to poolside to wrap your baby up after the lesson
- Pushchairs must not be brought onto poolside
- It is not recommended to feed babies within an hour of the lesson - Bring a healthy snack for afterwards J
General Information:
- PARKING: Parking for lessons must be made at the Fairlight Lodge Hotel. It is a short walk along Martineau Lane from the Hotel to the pool at Covehurst Bay. **There is NO PARKING available at Covehurst Bay**
- No shoes are allowed in the swimming pool area - If blue shoe covers are not available then it must be bare feet
- No pushchairs are allowed in the swimming pool area
- No eating or drinking is allowed in the swimming pool area or changing area
- Only 1 Adult is allowed to accompany a Swimmer to their swimming lesson
- PLEASE RESPECT ALL AREAS OF COVEHURST BAY HOLIDAY COTTAGE
- Please look after your belongings whilst you are at Shear Barn Holiday Park. If you think you may have left something behind please contact us at Water Creatures
